I let another person try the Neurophone. Once I affixed the headstrap I turned on the device. It was already set to my favorite mode — Blue mode. Immediately they commented that they were feeling some strange sensations. I lowered the power setting then the volume setting. They indicated that the sensation had gone away and that they could hear/sense nothing. I slowly ramped back up both power then volume to max. Now they said they still could not hear/sense anything. I flipped to the Green mode. When I switched to the Orange mode they let out a small cry. “Ouch! I got shocked!” they said, quickly removing the headband. I turned off the device. I was perplexed, watching them rub their temple where the transducers had been. In all the hours that I had logged this kind of thing had never happened. It was quite…shocking.

This happened to a friend of mine as well at the highest setting, maybe 32 volts I think. It left 2 burn places on his forehead for a few days.
